1. Friday 30 July at 9.00 pm: ”Un libro con Papa Luciani”: presentation of the book “Albino Luciani. Il papa degli umili” by Renato Donazzon with foreword by Nicola Scopelliti.
2. Thursday 5 August at 9.00 pm. Organ concert (Gaetano Callido, 1801)
3. Saturday 7 August at 9.00 pm: night procession
4. Tuesday 10 August at 9.00 pm: Concert by Val Biois Chorus and Women Chorus of Livinallongo.
5. Monday 23 August at 9.00 pm: “Un libro con Papa Luciani”: presentation of the book by Regina Kummer with Callido organ concert by Renzo Bortolot.
6. Wednesday 25 August at 9.00 pm: concert by the music group Lux Vivens: “Meditation on the lyrics of St Hildegard von Bingen”.
7. Thursday 26 August at 4.00 pm: Holy Mass celebrated on the occasion of the election anniversary of pope Luciani with unveiling of the statue of the B. V. of Pietralba
8. Tuesday 28 September at 3pm: opening of the catechism year; at 6pm: Holy Mass on the occasion of the pope Luciani’s death anniversary sung by the choir San Giacomo di Pieve of Livinallongo
On 27 June 2010, Riccardo Tognetti (1961-2010), excursionist and benefactor towards the Fondazione Papa Luciani of Canale d'Agordo, tragically lost his life in an accident on the Monti del Sole.
Remembering his generosity and work for Pope Luciani with gratitude, the Foundation expresses all its closeness and grief to Annamaria, Rita, Elisa and Alan for the heavy loss of their beloved son, husband and father.
We commit dear Riccardo’s soul to God with the prayer Pope Luciani wrote for his own death: "Oh my Lord, I ask you for one grace. I would like you to hold my hand when I will close my eyes onto the earth. I would like you to hold my hand like a mother towards her own child when danger is near. Thank you, my Lord.”
